Got an email from Opa today – titled as said up above with this bit of story:

“Citra took the diaper off her doll, took her upstairs, put her on the potty & gave her the Potty Book.”

One of parents’ nightmare happened to us when neither Citra’s head and coffee table would yield.

As result of her fall:

Update:

Her eyebrow still bear a scab as its slowly growing out being stuck in eyebrow hairs.

Citra would occasionally look at it, touch it and point at coffee table, saying “fall , bomp, (pointing back to scab) hurt.”

When asked if it hurts still now, she said, “no”.

This year, we decided to go with a traditional way of getting Christmas tree – almost – as it did not involve us hiking into vast forest but to a nearby small Christmas Tree farm complete with tree shaking, bagging, hot cider, and friendly people.

That beats buying tree at store and spending majority of trip in car rather than out.

[be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post after both videos for a little story]

“Exploring”

“Tree down”

(Sidenote: I stopped recording just before Citra went to front end of tree, all posed to help Dad carry it when he hoisted it up – darn!)

While Big Dad huffed and puffed the way back to front with a tree on his shoulder, Citra spotted a tree no taller than her.

She pointed at it, smiled and signed, “Want that.”

Sadly this tree was out of luck for two reasons, we already got one and secondly, this tree was completely orange as in dead.

We could take a pity on that tree as its nicely shaped and sized but it probably would be without its needles by the time it got to our home, disappointing Citra as its colouring was the why she wanted it.

Citra’s first dental visit at this awesome children dentistry.

First round with a hygienist, “not so bad” face:

Second round with a dentist, “egh, I have just about enough” face:

The people there are wonderful and quite good with children just as they should be.

They got nice play area in waiting room and they even have a tv up on ceiling above the dental chair with nice selection of kids movies.

They had her to sit on me instead of dental chair and lay her back to ease the process and anxiety.

Overall, Citra’s pearl whites are great thanks to her parents’ no cavities teeth genes 🙂

Well, alongside with proper teeth care training on daily basis, grins.

Citra loved to give Carmel a tight, hair gripping hug while burying and rubbing her face in Carmel’s hair.

While Carmel would be tolerant of her for little while before starting to wriggling, crawling, and pulling out of her little fists fast, walking away as she could on her bad leg.

Despite Citra’s crushing affections, it did not stop Carmel from being near to us and patiently follow Citra around for her well deserved carrot that she held fast in her hand and running around through kitchen/living room.

For those that do not know:
Carmel passed away recently in month of September

Here is bit more of Citra’s first cousin, Atalia Siana *grins*

Heres a video, in that she is starting to get hang of what its all about and instead of saying “Thank You”, she would say “Bye-Bye” 🙂

Yes, there are pictures of Big Daddy and his little Citra 🙂
